To-day is quadruple witching day...
What does it mean: a day on which contracts for stock index futures, stock index options, stock options and single stock futures all expire. Such day occur on the third friday of march, june, sep and dec. This is sometimes referred to as "freaky friday" when traders are quickly offsetting their orders on the final hour.
